Contraloría detecta sobreprecio de hasta 44% en compra de canastas de alimentos del Gobierno en 2020

Un informe de la Contraloría reveló que con hasta un 44% de sobreprecio fueron compradas las canastas para el plan de Alimentos para Chile, según informó Diario Financiero.

El plan buscaba entregar cajas de alimentos al grueso de la población y fue una de las medidas impulsadas por el Gobierno durante el año pasado para mitigar los efectos de la pandemia del covid-19.

El informe reveló que las mayores diferencias al comparar el gasto promedio en canastas familiares versus precios alternativos se dieron en tres regiones: Tarapacá, el Maule y Antofagasta.

La de Tarapacá, donde se gastó un promedio de $51.524 por canasta, cuando podría haberse gastado $28.693 como menor valor promedio, la región del Maule, dónde se invirtieron 36.820 pesos por caja, frente a una alternativa promedio de $22.753 y la de Antofagasta, donde el contraste fue de de $41.643 pesos en el precio de compra versus 26.783 como alternativa.

De esta forma, el promedio del sobreprecio en la adquisición de los bienes fue de 15,6%.

El presidente de la Comisión de Economía, Jaime Naranjo, del Partido Socialista, criticó a los funcionarios del Ejecutivo: “Una vez más queda demostrado cómo al interior del Gobierno hay algunos que aprovechan las crisis sanitarias, y las dificultades que viven en el país, para hacer negocios turbios o extraños”.

En tanto, el diputado Miguel Mellado de la misma comisión, pedirá citar a la instancia a las personas encargadas de las compras de mercadería del plan, para pedirles explicaciones.

La región Metropolitana, en tanto, aparece en el 10° lugar del listado comparativo, con un 13,6% de sobreprecio. El valor pagado por canasta fue de $34.689 promedio contra 29.982 de alternativas.
